Mission & Background

CSwaff Media is an independent sports media outlet covering high school, college and community athletics throughout Ohio. Through original reporting, photography, interviews, video and live coverage, we focus on the games, athletes and stories that make sports matter beyond the final score.

What began with sports photography through CSwaff Shots has grown into a broader media organization built around original storytelling and visual coverage. As CSwaff Media continues to grow, our commitment remains the same: cover the game with professionalism, tell the story with purpose and represent the people and communities involved with respect.

Our Team

Cole Swafford

Founder & Lead Photographer

Cole Swafford is the founder and lead photographer of CSwaff Media. He launched CSwaff Shots after picking up a camera during the Ohio high school football playoffs and quickly began building an audience around his sports photography.

Cole handles the majority of CSwaff Media’s photography and editing, with a focus on capturing the emotion, intensity, and defining moments surrounding competition. His work has taken him across multiple sports and levels of competition, including serving as the primary photographer for Princeton High School boys basketball during its 2025–26 Ohio Division I state championship season. As CSwaff Media grows beyond photography, Cole continues to lead the creative direction and visual identity of the brand.

Jesse Swafford

Photographer & Director of Operations

Jesse Swafford is a photographer and business operations director for CSwaff Media. His background in sports media began years before CSwaff Media, operating a local high school football website and contributing photography and written coverage to area newspapers.

Today, Jesse photographs games and events while overseeing CSwaff Media’s website, planning, scheduling, media relationships, partnerships, and business operations. His focus is building the infrastructure behind the creative work and helping CSwaff Media grow into a sustainable independent sports media outlet without losing the authenticity and purpose behind the brand.
